AIRPORT SLEEP BOX

Spread The Love

If you’ve ever had a multiple-hour layover at an airport and learned the hard way how airport chairs don’t make for restful slumber, then this is for you.

Introducing SLEEP BOX, a self-contained “hotel room” like pod for airports and other public places. Designed by a team of Russian architects, each SLEEP BOX provides all the comforts of home and the amenities you need to catch some shut-eye while waiting for your next flight.

Step inside a SLEEP BOX and you will find up to 3 beds complete with self-changing sheets, an LED reading lamp, a nightstand, as well as a place to store your luggage. Some models even provide charging outlets, built-in WiFi and a TV with  touchscreen monitor.  No more stretching out across 4 airport chairs, or trying to find comfort laying on those oh-so-clean- airport carpets.

The first SLEEP BOX was installed last month at the Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, but will be popping up at airports around the world soon. Weary travelers with hours to kill before flying can rent a SLEEP BOX for as little as 30 minutes or as long as several hours. With this type convenience at an airport, the SLEEP BOX may soon give the “Mile-High Club” a run for its money!
