Apple, Inc. is on a roll.
Last week, Apple toppled the big giant Microsoft as the biggest tech company there is. This news comes just as Apple prepares for next week’s WWDC conference to roll out its new 4.0 Operating System for the iPhone, as well as a brand new iPhone that reportedly has an improved camera with flash, a front-facing camera for web chat, higher resolution screen, longer battery life, and more.

GPS Tracking 2.1 ($4) – LOCiMobile has announced that its GPS-based tracking application is now available for both the iPad and the iPhone. GPS Tracking 2.1 allows users to know the location of friends or family by either tracking them or requesting their location. The app utilizes built-in Google Maps, and provides both Facebook and Twitter integration for users who want to post their location. This can be a very useful tool for parents keeping track of their young kids. Line2 2.3 ($1) – Line2 is an innovative new VoIP app that provides both Wi-Fi and 3G calling on the iPhone. This means, if you’re in a Wi-Fi zone, you can make crystal clear telephone calls via the internet, while bypassing the AT&T network and your monthly minutes. If you start a call in a Wi-Fi zone, it will seamlessly switch you to AT&T’s 3G network if you’re on the move and go outside of the Wi-Fi area.
