Arlington National Cemetery To Trump: ‘Get Out!’
Arlington National Cemetery has delivered a stark message to Donald Trump: GET OUT… and STAY OUT!
Current Events :
Apparently, Donald Drumpf is under the false impression that he’s still POTUS. Either that or he assumes the “You-Can-Do-Whatever-You-Want” card gifted to him by the US Supreme Court has already kicked in.
Too bad for him, but he’d be wrong on both counts.
Earlier this week, Trump tested the limits of the American people and US law by using Arlington National Cemetery as his own personal backdrop for a campaign photo-op — an act that is not only a moral no-no but actually against the law.
According to NPR, Trump took cameras and film equipment into the sacred final resting place of fallen US soldiers in an attempt to capture staged images of him appearing patriotic. He was immediately met by an official at the cemetery, who told Trump and his team they had to leave. Believing rules just don’t apply to them, the Trumpies engaged in a verbal and physical altercation with the official, prompting the cemetery to file a formal complaint.
Arlington National Cemetery, which is the country’s biggest and most revered military burial ground, said in a statement that federal law prohibits political campaign-related activities within Army National Cemeteries — particularly in Section 60 where soldiers who fought in Iran and Afghanistan are buried. Prohibited activities include “photographers, content creators or any other persons attending for purposes, or in direct support of a partisan political candidate’s campaign.” Officials added that “Arlington National Cemetery reinforced and widely shared this law and its prohibitions with all participants.” Still, Trump opted to desecrate and dishonor the cemetery and its deceased military personnel by ignoring federal law and exploiting the cemetery for his partisan benefit.
As expected, Trump and his MAGA klan offered their own “alternative facts” about the altercation.
“For whatever reason an unnamed individual, clearly suffering from a mental health episode, decided to physically block members of President Trump’s team during a very solemn ceremony,” campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said. He neglected to acknowledge the existing law against Trump’s actions, no matter how “solemn” they deemed their intentions to be.
In a related story, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke out against the blatant disrespect from Donald.
“Listen, this is what we’ve come to expect from Donald Trump and his team,” the Harris camp said on Wednesday. “Donald Trump is a person who wants to make everything all about Donald Trump. He’s also somebody who has a history of demeaning and degrading military service members, those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.”
Interestingly, the Harris statement struck a nerve and prompted Trump’s running mate/flunkie to lash out against her.
Kamala Harris “can go to hell!” JD Vance told a gathering of MAGA sycophants on Wednesday.
Trump has since posted photos of his cemetery field trip, featuring several supporters who helped the staging of his campaign catastrophe.

Trump gets into scuffle at Arlington National Cemetery.
The Daily Beast: Donald Trump’s photographed visit to Arlington National Cemetery earlier this week has drawn widespread criticism from many veterans’ groups, members of Congress who served, and even an official who served in the former president’s cabinet. Staffers for the 2024 Republican nominee reportedly verbally abused and shoved an Arlington official who tried to prevent the former president’s photographers from taking pictures of Section 60—the part of the cemetery dedicated to veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, NPR first reported on Tuesday. The Trump campaign later used footage from Section 60 in a video posted on TikTok. Federal law prevents political candidates from using the cemetery for election-related activities. Trump was also criticized for flashing a thumbs-up and flashing a wide grin during a graveside photo op while at the cemetery. The visit has since drawn widespread criticism from across the political spectrum, including several veterans groups.… Read more »
