If there is one lesson politicians still haven’t learned but will learn today, it is to NOT mess with Auntie Maxine.

Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters of California (also affectionately known as ‘Auntie Maxine’) has been in the political game long enough to know how to handle those who foolishly feel she’s an easy pushover. Such is the case with Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, who apparently required 2 schoolings to truly learn this lesson.
During a House Financial Service Committee hearing from 2 years ago, The Gentle Congresswoman had to remind Mnuchin that she was “Reclaiming My Time” over and over again as he tried to interrupt her while speaking. Skip to earlier this week when the good Auntie had to school Mnuchin on how he would NOT tell her how to run her own committee.
