UN-INVITED!
NEWSALERT: Newt Gingrich is in. Sarah Palin is OUT!
`

`
Since political fundraisers need to be planned and advertised well in advance in order to rev up the base and raise the necessary money intended, Republicans were said to be exasperated with Palin’s handling of this very important party event. “She was a disaster,” one Republican source told FOX News. “We had confirmation.” Another source familiar with the invitation indicated that the campaign committees were so incensed with Palin they didn’t even bother to officially notify her that they rescinded the invitation. “Speaker Gingrich is a leader” and we “decided to go in another direction” added National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Ken Spain. This comes on the heels of her former presidential running mate John McCain being “unsure” if he would back Palin if she were to run for the White House in 2012, a run that is almost certainly in jeopardy following this latest fiasco.
Yep.I posted about this story, 2 days ago (3/31/09) under the thead titled "The Party of ZERO". In essence, Repubs are looking BACKWARDS to the future_and nothing says "fresh face" and "NEW ideas" like NEWT GINGRICH!?!(still shaking my head)…lol.
LOL Its about time got exposed for the fraud that she is. Funny to watch the Rep. Party twist in the wind these days. P.S. Nice stories here DJ.
hahahahahaha what a tool!!!!yeah good luck in 2012
I just ran across this story: Gingrich: Obama Waging "War Against Churches" By Eric Kleefeld – April 2, 2009In a new appeal to the Christian right, Newt Gingrich told OneNewsNow that President Obama's proposed changes to the charitable deduction for top earners amounts to a "war against churches and charities," deliberately designed to discourage the successful from donating money to churches and make us all dependent on the government."I think there's a clear to desire to replace the church with a bureaucracy, and to replace people's right to worship together with a government-dominated system," said Gingrich.Note: The proposal itself is to lower the deduction that people making over $250,000 receive for itemized charitable contributions, from its current 33% or 35% down to 28%. Obama has defended the proposal by saying: "I'm assuming that that shouldn't be the determining factor as to whether you're giving that $100 to the homeless shelter down the street. Hat-tip TPM:http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009/04/gingrich-obama-waging-war-against-churches.php?ref=fp1Oh yeah sure, Newt is a much smarter choice than Palin (rolling my eyes)!Of course, he doesn’t believe a word of his own BS. He’s just “playing” to the ignorance and irrational fears of a VERY gullible “base” stoking their Extreme paranoia against “the enemy” which they see EVERYWHERE. IMO, between the “ChristiaNIST” theoCONS _Zionist neoCONS _and Corporatist CONS_the GOP doesn’t stand a snowballs chance in h*ll of restoring itself back to any credible standing.
Ooh, so THIS is what Newt’s game plan is.Gingrich: GOP-ers may form third partyBy Andy Barr | 4/2/09 2:18 PMFormer House Speaker Newt Gingrich is warning fellow Republicans that conservatives may leave the GOP for a third party in 2012. “If the Republicans can’t break out of being the right wing party of big government, then I think you would see a third party movement in 2012,” Gingrich said Wednesday during a speech at the College of the Ozarks in Missouri, the local television station KY3 reported. Gingrich thrashed Republicans for allowing increased spending during the Bush administration and for not doing enough to block President Barack Obama’s early initiatives. “Remember, everything Obama's doing, Bush started last year,” Gingrich said. “If you're going to talk about big spending, the mistakes of the Bush administration last year are fully as bad as the mistakes of Obama's first two, three months.” The former speaker also attacked the Democratic president on the economic stimulus package and for what he called his “grotesque arrogance” to oust Rick Wagoner as the head of General Motors.Source: See: <a href="http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0409/20809.htmlhttp://www.politico.com/news/stories/0409/20809.h… />Looks to me like Newt could care less about the GOP. IF the Repub hierarchy doesn’t support his “leadership” aspirations he’d rather see the party split into pieces_DIE. IF he can convince enough republican sheople to support a “new” third party(?)_well, who better to lead that “new” party than good ole Newt? But first things first: Planting the seed of “forming a new party” in the minds of all those so-CONS is essential to his game-plan so he’s wasting no in doing so while also putting the GOP “leadership” (such as it is) on notice. The so-CONS have NO clue. But the hierarchy sure as h*ll does…(pause)_then again_those boyz ain’t too bright so……maybe not???_smh.
