Lol…I hear you BD. Chicago winters AIN’T no joke!

My babysis has been trying to get me to relocate there for the longest. Nope…lol. I’m not trying to move anywhere that’s colder than my home state (PA). Cannot do it.

Now I do love visiting your great city in late Spring and during the Summer. Love it.

But your winters?! My friend you can have that!

Yep. No matter the socioeconomic times we live in (good, bad or so-so) there’s never NOT a need for those professions – medical care, mental health care and accounting.

That’s just the truth.

I work in accounting and there is talk at my job to keep a lot of us working at home permanent. Like this article said jobs have figured out they do not need people at a office all the time. I am glad to still have a job. But if the can stop me from going out to work in these Chicago winters I will be real happy.

Just an FYI: For almost 20 years my line of work is in the field of comorbid health illnesses – specifically mental health related to a diagnosis of a genetic life-threatening chronic medical illness.

Prior to that I worked exclusively (for about 8 yrs) in the field of MH/MR (dual diagnosis) with a year’s internship in Forensic MH at a county prison (btw that was a hoot and a holler)!
