THANK YOU for posting this DJ. I made a post yesterday about the media telling half a story. Also how many times they let white kids get away with violence when a sports team wins. People need to see this is bigger than one man. It's about years of mistreatment by police and the whole system. I'm glad the violence has stopped in Baltimore and the community came together to do what the police couldn't do. I hope Baltimore is rising.

side-note…..

I watched the video of a Black mother, Toya Graham, who apparently recognized her teenage son as one of the participants in the riots. Ms. Graham wasted no time confronting him and proceeded to lite into his butt for being a part of that foolishness. She was so upset with him!

When CBS news caught up to her later and asked what was going through her mind when she was hitting him, part of her response was:

"That’s my only son and at the end of the day I don’t want him to be a Freddie Gray.”

That video has now gone viral.

I agree DJ.

Far too often the news media shamelessly go out of their way to help stoke the flames of unrest that's already smoldering. It makes me sick to my stomach the way they tend to present one-sided narratives and pics that in actuality promotes and reinforces the most negative stereotypyes.

But unless I'm wrong (?)

I'd say CNN is taking some serious Heat for their coverage of this story because I noticed this morning they were making a real effort to cover the entire story more fairly.

Not just the negative.

Oh and Trump is a joke. Period.
