No. It wasn't. But I'm not sure most people "assumed" anything.

I think most people, like me, took their cues from the President, first and foremost. And HE certainly made it sound like his administration was better prepared for the launching then they turned out to be. The roll-out was a disaster. To say nothing of the broken promise made by the President assuring all Americans that One could keep One's current health insurance, if One chooses to. Welp. That's NOT necessarily so thanks to a few UNintended "loopholes" in the law.

But the President did apologize. And I believe most Americans accept his apology and, like me, are willing to be "patient."

The ACA is far from perfect. But it's a major first-step towards much needed affordable health care. And I too believe that it will prove to be very Successful.

No, the website wasn't perfect but so what. It is not a reflection on the health care insurance. This country should have been had a health care plan. It honestly should have been combined with medicare. Who told the 55 years and older group that they are the only ones entitled to health care. My money goes into medicare/medicaid. I want to be able to use it as well. A little off topic forgive me.
