But I have to agree with DJ I do not think picking her this early would be good for Joe Biden. Even if he ended up picking her in the end there is still no benefit to doing it this early. What is interesting though is I googled this topic and found a lot of political sites disagreeing and saying picking Abram right off the bat would be a real good thing for him. So I don’t know.

Regular readers may recall my admiration for Stacey Abrams. I view her as a rising star in her own right who does NOT need Biden (or any other *establishment* Dem for that matter) to elevate her status and promising future. She really needs to be Smart about her moves.

Frankly, I wish she would shut this kind of talk down already because I don’t believe it serves her (or Biden) well at all. To me it looks like she’s allowing herself to be used as a token. As for Biden – this smacks of sheer desperation on his part. Not a good look. Not a good idea.

[…]

Biden-Abrams at this point is also a potentially bad move because out of nearly 20 announced Democratic candidates, no one yet knows who the top contenders will be. […]-

Further, the question still remains if Stacey Abrams could be counted on to deliver her state of Georgia in a 2020 general election — which is traditionally expected of a vice-presidential running mate. Perhaps she could, but it’s a risk. […]

@DJ -All very good points and I absolutely Agree with you!
