Biden vs Putin Set For Wednesday
Biden vs Putin is all set and the first in-person meeting between President Joe Biden and Russian president Vladimir Putin will take place on Wednesday.

Presidents Biden and Putin will travel to Geneva, Switzerland on Wednesday for their first face-to-face meeting of the Biden presidency. Mr. Biden will use the meeting to discuss such hot-button issues as ransomware attacks emanating from Russia, Moscow’s aggression against Ukraine, the jailing of dissidents, and more. He’ll also almost certainly attempt to clean up a ton of damage done by Donald Trump.
In previous meetings with ‘The Donald,’ Putin used his years of KGB training to exploit Trump’s weaknesses. He stroked Trump’s ego by telling him how smart and “talented” he was, then took advantage as soon as he was disarmed.
For example, Trump twice ordered all of his senior aides and advisors out of the room so he could speak with Putin alone (believing he was good enough to take on the Russian leader single-handedly). Trump also hosted Russia’s foreign minister and ambassador inside the Oval Office — a move no other sitting president would have ever done.
Trump regularly kowtowed to Putin and was seen more as his puppet than a US president. Of course, intelligence officials believe Trump was in bed with Putin and even doing his bidding from inside The White House.
However, Biden vs Putin will be a brand new experience and Mr. Biden is already proving there’s a new sheriff in town. Earlier this week, Putin publicly recognized the difference by referring to Donald Trump as “impulsive” but calling Mr. Biden “radically different” from the “colorful” Trump.
“It is my great hope that, yes, there are some advantages, some disadvantages, but there will not be any impulse-based movements on behalf of the sitting US president,” Putin said of Biden.
For his part, the US president is deeply prepared for his meeting with Putin. Over the weekend, Biden consulted with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other foreign leaders on their tactics in dealing with Putin.
“He gets to hear from them as well, so that he will go into Geneva with the full support and solidarity of all of our NATO allies,” national security adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters on Sunday.
“He’s overprepared!” quipped First Lady Jill Biden.
“We want a stable and predictable relationship … but I’ve been clear: the United States will respond in a robust and meaningful way if the Russian government engages in harmful activities,” the president said while tipping his hand on how he intends to deal with Russia.
It may not be a literal boxing match, but Biden vs Putin will have all the trappings of a highly anticipated sports main event.

Yes indeed. But will it live up to all the hype? We shall see.
One thing is for certain though. Biden AIN’T Trump. As DJ points out in his post, Trump is a chump.
And Putin darn well knows the difference between the two.
