BLM Leader Supporting Trump For President??
The national Black Lives Matter organization is denouncing an alleged BLM leader and co-founder who says he is backing Donald Trump for president.
Politics :
Mark Fisher says he was co-founder and former senior director of a Black Lives Matter chapter in Rhode Island. He also appeared on FOX & Friends last week to announce that he is supporting Trump because Democrats are guilty of “duplicity” and do not support the best interests of the Black community.
“We understand when someone is for us and when someone is not, and it’s obvious the Democratic Party is not for us,” Fisher said. When asked why he chose Donald Trump over other contenders, the BLM leader said he believes a lot of people are “misinformed” about Trump.
“A lot of people are misinformed, they don’t really understand because they don’t educate themselves on Donald Trump,” Fisher claimed. “Personally, I love the man. I mean, how could you not like a real man? How could you not relate to someone like that?” he concluded.

After hearing of the Fox News segment, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social network with jubilation, saying he is “very honored to have his and BLM’s support.”
However, the Black Lives Matter movement had a few choice words to say about Fisher’s remarks and Trump’s reaction.
According to The Hill, the national organization went public late last week to say that not only do they not support Donald Trump for anything, but that the public should not be fooled by the antics of this fake BLM leader whose words and deeds they strongly condemn.
“This is a publicity stunt,” the organization said in a joint statement with the Black Lives Matter Rhode Island Political Action Committee. “The right-wing continues to use and amplify fringe Black voices to create an idea of broad support for their corrupt candidates.”
The groups clarified that Fisher founded a group called BLM Inc. in Maryland that is unaffiliated with the larger Black Lives Matter organization. They added that Gary Dantzler is the actual president of BLM Rhode Island and not Mark Fisher.
“Continuing to call Mark Fisher a BLM leader is disingenuous and inappropriate,” the statement continued. “Both the founder of BLM Rhode Island and BLM Rhode Island PAC have denounced Mark and have made it clear that he is an imposter.”
Interestingly, the so-called BLM leader is among a growing list of Black men who are abandoning the Democratic Party and flocking toward Donald Trump. That list includes rappers Kanye West, Ice Cube, Lil Wayne, and 50 Cent.

I’m glad they got to the bottom of it. That would have been disturbing.
