Bloomberg Bombed ‘Bigly’ In Democratic Debate
Former New York City mayor and current presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg had a lot to prove in his very first Democratic debate of the 2020 campaign. However, Bloomberg bombed so badly amongst his political peers that even his billions seem unlikely to save him moving forward.

Accused of attempting to hijack the Democratic nomination and buy his way into The White House, Bloomberg took the stage Wednesday night in Las Vegas with an expected bullseye on his back. However, what happened next was an all-out attack from every angle that Bloomberg simply couldn’t contain.
Right out the gate, Sen. Elizabeth Warren took instant aim at the billionaire former mayor for claims of sexist and misogynistic remarks.
“I’d like to talk about who we’re running against, a billionaire who calls women ‘fat broads’ and ‘horse-faced lesbians,’” she said. “And, no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump. I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg.”
Democrats will not win “if we have a nominee who has a history of hiding his tax returns, of harassing women, and of supporting racist policies like redlining and stop-and-frisk,” she added.
Warren then demanded that he release dozens of women from non-disclosure agreements they signed after working for his financial media company, Bloomberg LP.

“None of them accuse me of doing anything other than maybe they didn’t like a joke I told,” Bloomberg responded while clearly flustered and frustrated.
Former Vice-President Joe Biden then blindsided Bloomberg by condemning him for “throwing close to 5 million young black men up against a wall” while mayor of New York City. Biden added that Bloomberg only halted his racist policy after President Barack Obama intervened and put an end to the controversial practice of stop-and-frisk.
Up next was former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who called Bloomberg and Vermont socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders the “two most polarizing figures on this stage.” He then added: “Let’s put somebody forward who’s actually a Democrat.”
Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar took her turn by accusing Bloomberg of hiding behind a slick media campaign.
“I actually welcomed Mayor Bloomberg to the stage. I thought that he shouldn’t be hiding behind his TV ads, and so I was all ready for this big day,” she said.
For his part, Bloomberg stumbled and stammered his way through most of the night and seemed horribly uncomfortable and ill-prepared for the firing squad of incoming criticism.
Over the past several days, the 78-year-old former mayor opened a surprise surge in national and state polls after pouring hundreds of millions of dollars of his own personal fortune into catered campaign events and wall-to-wall TV ads. However, once he was forced to stand on stage with his fellow Democratic candidates, Bloomberg bombed ‘bigly’ and had little to no answers for the charges levied against him.
In fact, pundits are already saying Bloomberg bombed so badly in Vegas, that if it were a boxing match the referees would have stopped the fight.
Or, in other words, it looks as if Bloomberg’s 15 minutes of fame may have already come and gone. After his debate performance on Wednesday night, Bloomberg could soon be packing his bags, taking his billions, and heading back home.
.
Yes indeed DJ. You got that right…Lol. The man bombed “Bigly.”
It was brutal and quite an eye-opener, given he’s already spent nearly half a billion dollars on ads touting his supposed *readiness* to take on Trump and do the job as president AND the fact that he had MONTHS to prepare for his first debate only to get up on a national stage last night and FAIL so spectacularly!?! It was pitiful…smh!
…and Yes, his 15 minutes of fame may have already come and gone. In fact, I’ll just cut to the chase:
I still think Biden is the only candidate who could get enough votes to actually beat Trump in November but right now it looks like Sanders may well be on his way to winning the nomination via the delegate count.
We should have a clearer picture on Super Tuesday (March 3rd).
