Boarding Pass Should
Not Be Thrown Away!

Do you throw your airline boarding pass away immediately after your flight is done? Well, new information suggests that you should stop that dangerous practice immediately!

Travel
In addition to our name and flight info, an airline boarding pass also contains a barcode printed on it.  That barcode contains some extremely personal information about us, including our frequent flyer number, telephone number, and more. A hacker with a 99¢ barcode reading app can easily obtain our information from discarded boarding passes and use it to their advantage.

Imagine a hacker getting access to your frequent flyer account and changing or canceling your upcoming flights without your knowledge.

Take a look at the video below. The knowledge you gain should prompt you to start shredding all of your future boarding passes from now on.

THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY!
