Bobbi Kristina was found face down and unconscious in the bathtub of her home in Atlanta nearly 6 months ago. She slipped into a coma and never recovered. Brown passed away on Sunday at a hospice facility near Atlanta, although she was likely gone much sooner, since doctors said her brain function and all sense of hope was lost months ago.
“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months,” Kristen Foster, a representative for the Houston family said Sunday.
The fact that Bobbi Kristina ended up face down inside a bathtub in an eerily similar position as her late mother, has raised a great deal of concern among her family and police. Nick Gordon, Brown’s pretend “brother” turned live-in boyfriend is suspected by her family to have had a hand in her circumstances, although formal charges against him have not yet been filed.
Born to star parents who lived a drug-induced lifestyle, some say Bobbi Kristina never had a real chance at a successful life. She witnessed reported domestic violence and drug abuse from her parents for most of her life, picking up the habit herself in her brief adult years.  She was also part of the “Being Bobby Brown” reality television show fiasco, that stripped her mother of every ounce of dignity she may have had left, while Bobby and his family spent every dime Whitney Houston ever earned.  Sadly, the life Bobbi Kristina inherited from her parents led to her eventual demise.
When her mother, singer Whitney Houston, died of an apparent drug overdose in 2012, Brown reportedly mourned the death by following in her mother’s footsteps and self-medicating with drugs. Estranged from her father and now deserted by her deceased mother, Brown turned to the only constant she knew and felt she could trust in her life: Nick Gordon. It was Gordon’s alleged domestic violence against Brown, combined with his spend-thrift habits using the money Brown was inheriting from her mother’s estate, that may have led to the circumstances that eventually caused her death. See a familiar pattern?  The cycle Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown established, eventually found its way to their daughter.
Bobbi Kristina’s life was far too short and much too tragic. As Oprah Winfrey tweeted upon hearing the news of Brown’s death, “Peace at last!”  Hopefully, Bobbi Kristina has finally found peace in reuniting with her mother and the woman she called her best friend.
Bobbi Kristina Brown was 22.
"Born to star parents who lived a drug-induced lifestyle, some say Bobbi Kristina never had a real chance at a successful life."
Count me in as being in that number.
In the end the history of chronic addictions and total dysfunction of her parents made it impossible for her have a real chance at living a loving, healthy and happy life.
And tragically, IMO, she wasn't even allowed to die without having to endure nearly 6 months of the Brown-Houston families circus..smh.
May she now Rest in Peace.
