Tonight I caught a bit of Rachel Maddow's takedown of CNN, FAUX News and other media for displaying an EPIC FAIL earlier today when CNN's John King REPEATEDLY claimed that an arrest had been made in connection to the bombing and that the suspect is a "dark- skinned" man.

Suffice it to say that King had jumped the gun (AS USUAL) and was WRONG on all points AS USUAL.

Apparently THAT was the breaking point for the FBI.

I'm sure it's domestic terror. If it was foreign they would have tried to claim it by now. Thats why its quiet. This as*hole just wanted some attention. I just hope nobody tries to be a copy cat and start more mess somewhere else.

Over the years I've paid close attention to how tragedies in this country are generally covered by the news media, specifically how the media covers tragedies that take place in the North-East region of this country versus tragedies that happen in other parts of the country….especially in the South.

Suffice it to say that IMO there is an undeniable difference in the presentation and it sickens me. When covering North-East tragedies the media tends to put on quite the show bordering on *sap* overkill versus covering Southern tragedies from a less sensitive-more sensationalist angle.

Like I said…it's just my observation.

The person(s) obviously is filled with hate and sought to get revenge (through violent action against the greater community) for some percieved offense he/they feels was inflicted upon him/them.
