TIGER CONFESSES

Spread The Love
“I have let my family down.”
Tiger Woods – 12/2/09

After nearly a week of following an odd strategy to just remain quiet, Tiger Woods has finally broken his silence.

In a statement just released today on his website, Woods said:  “I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves.  I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.”

Tiger’s admission seemed necessary after US magazine printed a report Wednesday alleging that Woods had an affair with 24 year old cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs. The magazine also published what it says is a voice mail message from Woods to Grubbs:

“Hey, it’s Tiger,” a man says in the recording. “I need you to do me a huge favor. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you.  So if you can, please take your name off that. Just have it as a number on the voice mail. You got to do this for me. Huge. Quickly. Bye.”

This story is still developing with much more surely to come.  OK WASSUP!  will be following all the details as they unfold.

I knew something was up. Too bad for the Woods family.

OMG this is interesting. Could this be the beginning of the end for his squeak clean image?

Again, I've gotta say….Neither Tiger NOT his PR reps did him any favors in their total MIS-handling of this entire mess and NOW he's got "Bimbos" coming outta the woodworks (no pun intended).I think it much more likely NOW that his image will take a bit of a hit and NOT because he's confessed. But because he allowed the media to have an ENDLESS field-day with it FOR DAYS!

Tiger is going to be paying for that for years.

If Tiger had made a statement soon as the accident happened maybe everybody would have forgotten it by now. But soon as he started being secretive, that was an inviation for the press to start digging and finding things, which they did.He should fire his advisors. They completely misled him.

Why do these high profile celebrities even bother getting married? Just to make stupid mistakes later (Kobe, Jordan, Barkley, Letterman, and now Tiger) In this generation he could have easily made a family with Elin without marrying her. Now he's guilty of shaming their wedding vows and their family. Not sure if there was a pre-nup. But if there's a divorce Elin is going to be sitting pretty.
