The Buffalo shooter who killed 10 people and wounded 3 others on Saturday at a grocery store in a predominately Black Buffalo, NY neighborhood was on a racist rant.
Top News Today :
The suspected Buffalo shooter is 18-year-old Payton Gendron, a self-described white supremacist and anti-semite who drove hours from his home in another NY county just to enact a shooting rampage and hate crime inside a Black grocery store. He even live-streamed his murder spree on social media for all to see.
“A man has opened fire at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York while live-streaming on Twitch, killing at least 10 people and injuring several others,” BNO News reported Saturday. “A 106-page online manifesto, believed to have been uploaded by the shooter, explained that he was motivated by a conspiracy theory that white people are being replaced by other races. In the document, he says he is 18 years old and a self-described white supremacist and anti-semite.”
He has since been charged with first-degree murder, with additional charges pending.
“He self identifies as a white supremacist fascist with Neo-Nazi beliefs who is anti ‘high fertility immigrants’ under the white replacement theory. There are several 4chan markers,” explained J.J. MacNab, a researcher at the George Washington University program on extremism who studied the shooter’s 106-page manifesto.
“He states that he was radicalized online on 4chan and was inspired by Brenton Tarrant’s manifesto and live-streamed mass shooting in New Zealand.”
The suspect first opened fire in the store’s parking lot and then moved inside, where he continued shooting before surrendering to police. Once in custody, he mumbled about his attachment to the “great replacement” conspiracy theory and the belief that Whites are rapidly being pushed to the background and replaced by other races — and that Whites must act now in order to save their species.
The manefesto from the Buffalo shooter “rants about immigration & white birthrates, both of which feature prominently in mainstream conservative & MAGA rhetoric. And he embraces an explicitly accelerationist rationale for violence…hoping to cause further strife and societal collapse… Those who spread these ideas are to blame, not just the ones who pull the trigger,” said anti-racism educator Tim Wise. “There is nowhere else replacement theory rhetoric and logic can lead except for violence. It is inevitable…”
Interestingly, Fox News personality Tucker Carlson has been the most prominent person pushing the Great Replacement theory since it first reared its ugly head. His rhetoric prompted the president of the Anti-Defamation League to demand back in 2021 that Fox News fire the anchor for promoting hate on his primetime show.
Not surprisingly, the network ignored the warning.

Buffalo shooter believes Whites are being replaced.
New York Times
A day after one of the deadliest racist massacres in recent American history, law enforcement officials in New York descended on the home of the accused gunman and probed disturbing hints into his behavior, as Gov. Kathy Hochul promised action on hate speech that she said spreads “like a virus.”
The suspect, Payton S. Gendron, 18, shot 13 people on Saturday afternoon at a Tops supermarket in east Buffalo, killing 10, officials said. Almost all the victims were Black — shoppers, grocery workers and a security guard bound together by little more than tragic happenstance.
But Mr. Gendron picked his target carefully, the police said, choosing an area known for its large Black population and even visiting the neighborhood the day before the attack in what authorities described as “reconnaissance.”
