Bullseye On Bernie At Democratic Debate
A ‘Bullseye on Bernie’ was the theme for Tuesday night’s Democratic Debate in South Carolina ahead of the state’s primary election on Saturday.

After winning in New Hampshire and Nevada and coming in 2nd in Iowa, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders has quietly become the man to beat for the 2020 nomination. So, it’s no wonder the candidates took turns beating up on Bernie — and on Mike Bloomberg.
Pete Buttigieg argued that Democrats who support Bernie are putting control of the House and Senate in jeopardy.
“The time has come to stop acting like the presidency is the only office that matters. Not only is this a way to get Donald Trump reelected. We have a House to worry about. We have a Senate to worry about. And this is really important,” Buttigieg said.
“If you want to keep the House in Democratic hands, you might want to check with the people who actually turned the House blue,” Buttigieg directly told Sanders. “Forty Democrats who are not running on your platform. They are running away from your platform as fast as they possibly can. I want to send those Democrats back to the United States House.
“I am not looking forward to a scenario where it comes down to Donald Trump with his nostalgia for the social order of the 1950s and Bernie Sanders with nostalgia for the revolutionary politics of the 1960s,” Buttigieg continued in his ‘Bullseye on Bernie’ moment. “We’re not going to win these critical House and Senate races if people in those races have to explain why the nominee of the Democratic Party is telling people to look at the bright side of the Castro regime.”
Mike Bloomberg also placed a bullseye on Bernie by pointing out that Russia has been doing everything in its power to help Sanders win the nomination.
“Vladimir Putin thinks that Donald Trump should be president of the United States,” Bloomberg said. “And that’s why Russia is helping you get elected, so you will lose to him.”
Next up was Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who took Bloomberg to task for his alleged sexist behavior and comments.
“I never had a boss tell me to ‘Kill it’ when I was pregnant,” Warren said of Bloomberg, referring to a comment he is said to have made to a pregnant employee.
All in all the Tuesday night debate was a shout-fest of personal insults and biting one-liners. And, of course, there was a Bullseye on Bernie Sanders.
In case you missed it, here are 3 minutes of the best highlights of the night.

Yep. It was mostly a hot mess that CBS presented last night, beginning with that ridicules format AND those so-called “debate moderators.” I actually forced myself to watch most of it. They moderated nothing. And frankly they, and most of their questions came across as amateurish at best.
Despite all that mess, Biden may have helped himself a little last night. Buttigieg demonstrated, Again, why I believe if he was straight he’d probably be a clear front-runner, all things considered. Bernie was shook but still remains the man to beat for the nomination..at least for now.
