When DJ said elections have consequences he is exactly right. The court is nothing but conservatives trying to hold onto conservative thinking. They are not impartial like they pretend. We can thank voters electing Trump and Repubs who cheated to load the court up.

I asked my boss about this. The justice department is not prosecuting everybody under the same law. Only the most serious cases. But it still looks like the Supreme Court is looking for a way to mainly help Trump out and also excuse a lot of the people that attacked the Capitol.

Whatever the larger consequences of the court’s ruling, expected by late June, several justices on Tuesday seemed troubled by the government’s interpretation of the law, saying it would allow many other kinds of prosecutions. “Would a sit-in that disrupts a trial or access to a federal courthouse qualify?” Justice Neil M. Gorsuch asked. “Would a heckler in today’s audience qualify, or at the State of the Union address? Would pulling a fire alarm before a vote qualify for 20 years in federal prison?”

I would posit that there’s NOT 1 institution in America that hasn’t been corrupted over the past 20-25 years, Especially the U.S. Supreme Court during Trump’s presidency!
