Celebrating President Jimmy Carter

Spread The Love

Today is President’s Day and an excellent opportunity to celebrate former President Jimmy Carter and give him his flowers while he’s still here to receive them.

Top News Today :
Over the weekend, Mr. Carter announced to the world that he is tired after battling brain cancer and myriad other health issues. His words came with the shocker that he has now decided to end all life-saving treatments, enter hospice care, and enjoy whatever final days he has left on this earth.

“I’m not afraid of death,” the former president said as he assured the American public that he is at peace with his decision and has lived a complete and full life.

And so, on THIS day, we commemorate and honor the 39th President of the United States as he prepares to take his final walk into the sunset.

Happy President’s Day, Jimmy Carter. Job well done!

Hear! Hear!

DJ, this “Celebrating Pres. Jimmy Carter” while he’s still alive is a wonderful tribute! He is certainly worthy of his flowers.

Btw, my maternal grandmother raised me with that incredible sentiment – Give the person flowers while he or she is still here to receive them.

I still live by that sentiment today and practice it as often as possible.
