He did what anybody would do for their family. But he took it too far when he started using his job to dig up dirt on women accusing his brother. That is where he crossed a line. I think CNN is going to fire him or they will look bad if they just hope it dies down. This is too bad for both Chris and Andrew. I remember watching the brothers together on tv during the pandemic.

Was Chris correct to put “family first” in his concern for his brother? Yes.

But Chris went too far in his efforts to help his brother and he ended up doing great damage (certainly, professionally) to himself in the process. He risked it all trying to uphold his brother in the wrong.

Then he failed to be “more forthright with network honchos regarding involvement in his brother’s case.”

CNN did “exactly the right thing” by suspending him. Now he may be out of his job too!

Heard about this last evening. A little surprised but not shocked by this revelation.

In tight knit families with strong bonds, sibs taking up for one another is the norm. I grew up in such a family and we are incredibly close to this day.

My sibs and I were always taught to “Always love one another no matter what. BUT NEVER uphold your sister or brother in the wrong.” THIS is where Chris Cuomo really really messed up!

And it may indeed cost him his job at CNN.
