The long-anticipated Cohen Memo was released on Friday and it made Donald Trump so distraught, he spent the day having a hissy fit.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has now made public all the dirt former Trump lawyer/fixer Michael Cohen provided to his team (via the Cohen Memo) regarding ‘The Donald’s’ links to Vladimir Putin, Russian oligarchs, and foreign mobsters. Needless to say, it’s a doozy.
Here are the most significant findings from the bombshell Cohen Memo:
- Michael Cohen admitted that he lied to Congress (in order to protect Trump) about plans for a potential Trump Tower in Moscow. Cohen originally claimed those discussions broke off BEFORE Trump launched his presidential campaign, however, he later admitted that those talks with the Russians continued beyond Trump winning the GOP nomination.
- Cohen told the Mueller team that he was in contact with a Russian national who claimed to be a “trusted person” in the Russia Federation who said he could offer the Trump campaign “political synergy.” The person wanted to arrange a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Cohen said the meeting would have been a “phenomenal” opportunity, not only for its political impact but for Trump’s businesses and his longstanding desire for a Moscow project. Interestingly, that person appears to be Felix Sater, a longtime Donald Trump associate accused of having Russian mafia ties.
- Cohen also provided critical Russia-related information that reportedly gets to the “core” of the special counsel’s investigation into collusion. Mueller’s team was understandably vague in the Cohen Memo about what this entailed but added the “discrete” information was obtained by Cohen through his constant contact with the Trump Organization.
At one time, not only was Michael Cohen ‘The Donald’s’ attorney, but he was also a friend and the guy who “fixed” things as Trump’s right-hand man. So, it’s not a stretch to recognize that Cohen knows ALL THE DIRT Donald Trump has been involved in — which is why Trump had an absolute meltdown on the day the Cohen Memo was released.
After tuckering himself out from so much angry yelling, Trump later decided to deny defeat and miraculously declare that the Cohen Memo is proof he has won.
AFTER TWO YEARS AND MILLIONS OF PAGES OF DOCUMENTS (and a cost of over $30,000,000), NO COLLUSION!

Well, leave it to George Conway, husband of Trump senior advisor Kellyanne Conway, to throw cold water on that theory and bring ‘The Donald’ back to reality.

Except for that little part where the US Attorney’s Office says that you directed and coordinated with Cohen to commit two felonies. Other than that, totally scot-free. https://t.co/YXmgY9KmXi

“I think what this totality of today’s filings show that the House is going to have little choice, the way this is going, other than to start impeachment proceedings.” – Watergate lawyer John Dean
