For years, attorney and friend Michael Cohen has been Donald Trump’s right-hand man. However, after last week’s guilty plea for lying under oath on behalf of Trump and flipping to become a government witness, the former friend is now a foe and has ‘The Donald’ shaking in his boots.
Politics
As part of a plea bargain agreement, Cohen, who previously testified that talks for a Trump-Moscow project had ended in January 2016 (just before the Iowa caucuses), has now admitted that he flat-out lied about known ties to Russia out of obligation to Trump.
“I made these statements to be consistent with Individual-1’s political messaging and out of loyalty to Individual-1,” Cohen said in court last Thursday in reference to Donald Trump as “Individual-1.”
Cohen, who once bragged that he would “take a bullet” for Trump, is now cooperating with the Robert Mueller investigation and has provided more than 70 hours of damning information about his former friend to the special counsel.
If anyone knows where “all the bodies are buried” it’s Michael Cohen — which is why he has Donald Trump so worried about what he has already told or might soon tell Mueller.
According to Cohen, not only was he breaking campaign finance laws at Trump’s direction before the election, but he was also keeping Trump “contemporaneously informed” of his actions.
Additionally, he has admitted that he was “in close and regular contact” with Trump’s lawyers and White House staffers while he was drafting false testimony to give to Congress last year about his involvement in the Trump Organization’s effort to build a Trump Tower in Moscow during the election.
Cohen’s admission of guilt involving Donald Trump more than rises to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors. Now, Mueller only needs to corroborate Cohen’s testimony and that would be enough to send ‘The Donald’ packing.
In light of this hard-hitting recent development and in true form, Trump took to Twitter on Monday to lash out like a frightened sewer rat against his former pal, saying Cohen should receive the maximum jail sentence for lying under oath.
“Michael Cohen asks judge for no Prison Time.” You mean he can do all of the TERRIBLE, unrelated to Trump, things having to do with fraud, big loans, Taxis, etc., and not serve a long prison term? He makes up stories to get a GREAT & ALREADY reduced deal for himself, and get…his wife and father-in-law (who has the money?) off Scott Free [sic]. He lied for this outcome and should, in my opinion, serve a full and complete sentence.”

Trump then went on to praise his former adviser, Roger Stone, for keeping his mouth shut and for not ratting him out.
“‘I will never testify against Trump.’ This statement was recently made by Roger Stone, essentially stating that he will not be forced by a rogue and out of control prosecutor to make up lies and stories about ‘President Trump.’ Nice to know that some people still have ‘guts!’” Trump wrote while oddly putting quotation marks around his own name and title.
Meanwhile, as Donald Trump shakes Robert Mueller simply waits, telling defense lawyers in recent weeks that he is merely “tying up loose ends” regarding the investigation of Russia’s interference in the 2016 election and Donald Trump’s presumed campaign collusion with Moscow. In fact, the special counsel is said to have already begun drafting his final report. This could only mean that he has already dotted all i’s and crossed all t’s and finally has enough evidence to potentially bring Donald Trump to his knees.
Is former friend/handler Michael Cohen the man who will finally bring Trump tumbling down? Or is Trump’s own missteps in the media and on Twitter combined with his recent answers to Mueller’s questionnaire the dagger that will eventually do him in?

Mueller knows darn well he can’t trust Cohen’s word alone so Mueller, no doubt, has corroborating evidence to support Cohen’s claims. In light of that supporting evidence, Cohen certainly will play a huge role in bringing down Trump.
Added to: “Trump’s own missteps in the media and on Twitter combined with his recent answers to Mueller’s questionnaire”….And….”Allen Weisselberg, the Man Who Knows Donald Trump’s Financial Secrets, Has Agreed to Become a Coöperating Witness”……
…….I’d say, the walls are really closing in on Donald.
