The conservative Supreme Court of the United States warned us all in advance of their plan to murder a medley of American rights. They’ve now begun to keep that promise.

On Friday, conservatives from across the country jumped for joy over the news that the Supreme Court’s 5 conservative justices — Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett — have dismantled Roe v. Wade and canceled a woman’s right to choose what’s best for her own body. Ironically, the successful vote to ban all abortions in the US (even in cases of rape or incest) was made possible by the 3 justices Donald Trump was allowed to nominate, proving that elections do indeed have consequences.
While conservatives and evangelicals celebrated their victory to see morality mandated via the conservative Supreme Court, Justice Clarence Thomas took an extra victory lap by not only stabbing Americans in the heart but twisting the knife, too.
Thomas, who once told his law clerks he wanted to serve on the high court for as long as possible merely to make the lives of liberals “miserable,” made it publicly known that the conservative Supreme Court won’t simply stop at ending abortion. Instead, they will now soon focus on ending the rights to contraception, sexual activity between people of the same gender, as well as same-sex marriage.
Interestingly, Thomas, who is Black but married to a White woman, made no mention of attacking Loving v. Virginia, the law which allowed him and others the right to enter into an interracial marriage within the US.
Immediately following the announcement that Roe v. Wade had been overturned, Americans took to the streets in Washington, DC, New York, Los Angeles, and all across America in protest.
In nationally televised remarks, President Biden urged Americans to elect more members of Congress in November’s midterm elections who will support legislation protecting a woman’s right to choose.
“This fall, Roe is on the ballot,” Mr. Biden said from The White House. “Personal freedoms are on the ballot. The right to privacy, liberty, equality — they’re all on the ballot. Until then, I will do all in my power to protect a woman’s right in states where they will face the consequences of today’s decision.”
As expected, conservatives were giddy with excitement over the end of abortion rights.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) called the ruling “courageous and correct.”
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R- LA), and Republican Conference Chairman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) said in a joint statement: “We applaud this historic ruling, which will save countless innocent lives. Every unborn child is precious, extraordinary, and worthy of protection.”
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was so ecstatic over the news that he immediately closed his office and vowed to make the date of the ban “an annual holiday.”
However, at least one Republican was a bit too loose (and honest) with her words.
During a Donald Trump rally on Saturday night, MAGA Rep. Mary Miller of Illinois slipped up in her excitement and accidentally said the quiet part out loud.
“President Trump, on behalf of all the MAGA patriots in America, I want to thank you for the historic victory for white life in the Supreme Court yesterday,” she said.
Her words pretty much confirmed that the entire battle to protect the unborn (but not give a damn about a child once they’re physically born) is actually a thinly-veiled attempt to protect WHITE life and prevent the perceived extinction of white power in America.
So, now what?
Since several Republican/MAGA states were already expecting their politically partisan buddies on the conservative Supreme Court to end a woman’s right to choose, they made the abortion ban go into effect immediately or at least within hours of the decision. Those 11 states where abortion is already illegal are Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. The remaining states will need to cease abortions within weeks.
Additionally, the court made it illegal for anyone to cross state lines and seek an abortion in a state other than their own.
The ruling also means that if a young girl gets forcibly impregnated by her own father or a woman is raped by some criminal, they will be compelled to carry the baby to term and give birth — or risk traveling to Mexico or worse, returning to the days of getting a secret abortion in a dark alley with a coat hanger.
So, thanks to the conservative Supreme Court of the United States, we’ve begun to “Make America Great Again” — or, in other words, turn the clock back to 1950 and erase all progress and rights Americans have fought for and earned over the last 70+ years.

Conservative Supreme Court goes after abortion rights, more!
Was hoping to get a chance to say a little something on this before I head out the door to attend a state healthcare symposium. I ran across this information just this morning and thought I would share: Clarence Thomas says American citizens are seemingly ‘more interested in their iPhones’ than ‘their Constitution’: book Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in a new book expressed “disappointment” that more Americans aren’t more attuned to the Constitution and remaining vigilant about the protection of liberties. In the book, “Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words,” co-edited by Michael Pack and Mark Paoletta, Thomas was interviewed by Pack for over 30 hours between November 2017 and March 2018, in what became an expanded companion to the 2020 documentary of the same name. During the conversation, Thomas said that people are seemingly less attentive to the Constitution. “I think we as citizens have lost… Read more »
