Coronavirus Parody On Saturday Night Live
Granted, coronavirus is not a joke. However, the coronavirus parody on last weekend’s Saturday Night Live depicting just how badly Donald Trump, Fox News, and others have completely botched handling of the pandemic is beyond funny.

The hilarious comedy sketch began with an episode of the Laura Ingraham show on Fox with a special guest appearance by Jeanine Pirro (played by SNL actress Cecily Strong).
“Tonight’s main story — I don’t know why — the Coronavirus. The left continues to wage its deceitful, dishonest, and frankly, gay smear campaign against President Trump,” Ingraham (portrayed by SNL actress Kate McKinnon) said in an apparent echo of Trump’s “hunch” that despite warnings from career doctors and CDC scientists, Coronavirus is no big deal.
The cold-open ended with a surprise appearance from Sen. Elizabeth Warren herself who brought the house down with her unexpected participation.
After a week of dreadful coronavirus news, this longer than usual video is well worth the view. Check out the SNL cast poking fun at Trump and his conservative cronies failing to acknowledge or even recognize this very real threat.
THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY!
