I can’t get the flu shot because it makes me really ill.

I had experienced really bad sickness over the years AFTER getting the flu shot. But 3 years ago was the absolute worse! Just a nightmare for me.

That’s when my PCP finally agreed with me…no more flu shots.

My boss and his wife, both, were in relatively good health and both got the vaccine as soon as they were eligible to get it.

Both were admitted to the hospital a few days ago where they remain in ICU literally fighting for their lives.

“The vaccine they gave us was not a cure.”

I know that BD. I never thought any of the vaccines were a cure.

Do the vaccines offer some protection? Yes. And I’m thankful for whatever degree of protection they actually provide. But in light of what we now know, the first vaccines weren’t ever as effective (in terms of strength and duration) as the biopharmaceutical companies that make them claimed.

I’m not telling others not to get the booster. I’m simply saying the booster isn’t for me.

Come on now Truth you are better than that. The vaccine they gave us was not a cure. It kept us out the hospital and from dying. They are going to have to keep remaking the vaccine until they get these variants under control. Please do not become one of those people who refuse to get the shot. That is what is keeping us from herd immunity already.
