In reply to Truthiz1. Hey Truth I was waiting to see what you was going to add today. This phrase is confusing but the Repubs are trying to make it political and that is just confusing it more. I am glad we get to talk this out though. From what I was reading about it today what DJ said is true. White people want to stop talking about racism and tell us to get over it. And CRT is not letting them do it.

Or, in other words, it is an “awakening” to the existence of systemic racism in America and an attempt to educate how white privilege affects perception, the law, and nearly every facet of our everyday lives. [...]- DJ Note: I am very critical of buzz phrases like "Critical Race Theory" and buzz words like "woke." But I appreciate DJ using the word "awakening" as it relates to CRT to clearly lay out just what this theory is and what it seeks to do (its meaning and purpose). I just wish they would have given the theory another name.
