DJ the list you came up with in this article is a good one. I did not think about AOC or Hillary Clinton until you mentioned them. But I can see everybody on that list running. I think if she wants the job Leticia James could get it. The election is not for another year and she could get past any conflict of interest by that time. I could also see Trump trying to get it just to stop the investigation into him. I would not put anything passed him and like Truth said there is nothing too low for him.

What a day this is at work. I finally got time to comment on this today. So Cuomo resigning shocked everybody because the last thing we heard was he was going to fight it. I wonder if Biden or somebody convinced him it was time to go. He is a smart man so I think he already thought about his next steps. He is still a young man so he is going to have to work somewhere. I am real curious to know what he has planned coming up.

Ultimately, the voters of the state of New York will decide who their next elected Governor will be. But sure…I’ll play along and share my 2 cents just for fun.

Okay so I’ll start with DJ’s list of possible candidates who might run:

1. Bill De Blasio? No.
2. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? Nope.
3. Leticia James? Interesting. But as DJ correctly points out “running for governor could be seen as a conflict of interest for the woman who successfully ousted Cuomo from office.” So my answer is No.
4. Hillary Clinton? Please…..NO.
5. Trump? He may toy with the media a bit and pretend he might run. There’s certainly NO low that’s too low for him to go. But I’ll go way out on a limb here and say…not even Trump is THAT ridicules.

Of course, if I’m wrong about ‘T-rump” we’ll certainly know soon enough.
