“Manchin is a Repub in Democrat clothing”……..

BD this became SO clear to me during Pres. Obama’s 8 yrs in office. Manchin is a Poseur and I definitely do NOT trust the man at all.

But then I thought about it and realized it is almost January and I think that is the time everybody starts making their announcement. So I guess we are. Anyway I love Kamala Harris but I am not sure if America will love her. . Manchin is a Repub in Democrat clothing so I would be leery of him. The good match would be Kasich like Truth said then pair him with a Dem. Maybe Kamala or Booker or somebody like that. Then we have a unity ticket of Repub and Dem together.

I think Kasich wants to run again but he’s conflicted by his uncertainty of whether he’d have a better chance of wining if he runs as a Repub or as an Independent(?) Michelle ain’t running.

As I expressed in my first response- I’ll be watching Julian Castro to see if he’s got what it takes to really take on Trump.

“If the 2018 midterm election taught us anything, it’s that this is the era of the woman.”

Yep. And I know it’s “just my imagination running away with me” but man I wish Michelle Obama would go for it! She won’t…..but I can still dream. 🙂

Re: “old stalwarts” like Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders AND Hillary Clinton – their “window of opportunity” IMO, has indeed “come and gone.”

Not feeling Kamala Harris, Joe Manchin or Sherod Brown (though I get DJ’s point about Ohio). These days you can be Less inspirational and still get elected to the Senate or Congress. Not so when it comes to running for president. You have to inspire millions of people Big Time to vote for you for president.

Not feeling Elizabeth Warren or Beto O’Rourke (at least not for president).

Julian Castro does spark my interest and he’s from Texas. However, I need to do some serious research on the man. And I’ll be watching him closely over the next 2 yrs…especially during the primaries.
