It’s 2013.  Where do Americans stand with regard to racial thinking and profiling in America?  Where do you stand regarding your own racial thinking and how stereotypes play into your thought process??

Take a look at the video below from the TV show “What Would You Do?”  It was filmed by a hidden camera crew who wanted to see how Americans view whites and minorities in the exact same situation. Wow interesting video. Just goes to show what we already know, racial profiling DOES still exist.

I deliberately waited a day to view, and respond, to this video, hoping that other readers (in addition to BD) would chime in and share their thoughts.

Okay so…WOW. If a pictures is worth a thousand words, THIS video, IMO, speaks VOLUMES. It's absolutely Priceless.

The one issue I have (from a research perspective) is that the sample size of people in this experiment is small. However, given that the reaction of Black on-lookers was virtually no different than the reaction of White on-lookers …to me the message couldn't be more CLEAR. And I find it to be deeply disturbing.

I hope this video makes its way into the news-rooms of major news stations across this country. It's worthy of that level of discussion.

I know that the racists and bigoted attitudes of SOME people will never change. But the numbers are what the numbers are. And hopefully REAL *Change* for most Americans is simply a matter of Time in the not so distant future.
