Everyone’s talking about the Donald Trump meltdown that happened not once, but TWICE over the weekend.
Politics :
Trump has been unhinged ever since President Joe Biden ditched his re-election campaign and endorsed the glowingly popular Vice President Kamala Harris to fill the void. However, the fact that Ms. Harris is intelligent, accomplished, Black, female, and often draws bigger crowds has not only threatened Trump but caused a constant conniption fit.
Now, the events of the past few days have sent Donald Drumpf over the edge and into a meltdown of epic proportions.
The first Donald Trump meltdown began on Friday.
Trump was in New York City to learn if the judge in his failed hush money/sexual abuse case (that deemed him a convicted felon) intended to send him to jail before the November election. Fortunately for him, the judge opted to delay sentencing until after the election (a move some political observers believe is a sign Trump is headed to jail and the judge didn’t want to make known before the election). However, that tad bit of good news didn’t stop Drumpf from a hastily arranged press conference that turned into a rambling mess.
In what quickly spiraled into a horrific attempt to settle the score with various past and present detractors, Trump stood in front of TV cameras and rattled off a combative laundry list of complaints that likely left his political team reeling with regret.
Trump demeaned women, accused them of creating lies against him allegedly because he’s rich and famous, called the E. Jean Carroll sexual abuse case he lost “Monica Lewinsky Part II,” and repeatedly implied he would have never assaulted most of his accusers because they weren’t attractive enough.
Regarding a woman who accused him of sexual misconduct on a plane in the 1970s, Trump said “She would not have been the ‘chosen one.’”
When discussing Ms. Carroll, Trump claimed “I never touched her. I would have had no interest in meeting her in any way, shape, or form.”
Trump rambled aimlessly for an hour, often reminding voters of past allegations and other acts of sexual misconduct that were little-known or already forgotten. Never once did he take a single question from the press during his own “press conference.” He even blamed his own lawyers for much of his legal woes.
This first Donald Trump meltdown was a veritable gift for Kamala Harris, who now has the option to pick and choose multiple snippets from this televised collapse to use in political commercials against him.
Oh, but there’s more.
Also on Friday, former Vice President Dick Cheney triggered a 2nd Donald Trump meltdown when he officially endorsed Kamala Harris for president.
“In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump,” Cheney said in a statement. “He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him. He can never be trusted with power again.
“As citizens, we each have a duty to put country above partisanship to defend our Constitution. That is why I will be casting my vote for Vice President Kamala Harris,” he concluded.
The announcement came only a day after his daughter, former Rep. Liz Cheney also endorsed Ms. Harris.
“I don’t believe that we have the luxury of writing in candidates’ names, particularly in swing states,” Liz Cheney said during an event at Duke University. “As a conservative, as someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this. Because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris.”
The double whammy from the Cheneys sent Trump into a tailspin.
“Dick Cheney is an irrelevant RINO, along with his daughter, who lost by the largest margin in the History of Congressional Races!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
“He’s the King of Endless, Nonsensical Wars, wasting Lives and Trillions of Dollars, just like Comrade Kamala Harris. I am the Peace President, and only I will stop World War III!” Trump added.
Interestingly, the Donald Trump meltdown Part 1 and Part II came during the same week he finally (and, perhaps accidentally) admitted he lost the 2020 election.
“I became president,” Trump said, referring to the 2016 race. “Then the second time, I got millions more votes than I got the first time.”
He continued: “I was told if I got 63 million, which is what I got the first time, ‘You would win. You can’t not win.’ And I got millions more votes than that and lost by a whisker.”
The dual Donald Trump meltdown and his election loss admission were bad enough. However, Trump’s sinking mental state appears to be even worse. Let’s see if it all continues into Tuesday’s Harris-Trump debate.

The dual Donald Trump meltdown.
ABC News: Former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., a once-rising star in the GOP who fell out with her party over her criticism of Donald Trump, slammed the former president as an “unrecoverable catastrophe” in her call for other Republicans to vote against him this year. “We see it on a daily basis, somebody who was willing to use violence in order to attempt to seize power, to stay in power, someone who represents unrecoverable catastrophe, frankly, in my view, and we have to do everything possible to ensure that he’s not reelected,” Cheney told “This Week” co-anchor Jonathan Karl. “You have many Republicans out there who are saying, ‘Well, you know, we’re not going to vote for him, but we will write someone else in.’ And I think that this time around, that’s not enough, that it’s important to actually cast a vote for Vice President Harris,” Cheney added.
