Dr. Conrad Murray Speaks…and Sings
“I was in the wrong place, at the wrong time!”
– Dr. Conrad Murray
Dr. Conrad Murray, the man charged with manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson, is speaking.
In an exclusive telephone interview from his jail cell with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Murray used the opportunity to deflect blame from himself and onto others. He claimed that he is a scapegoat in Jackson’s untimely death and that Jackson injected himself with the lethal dose of propofol that killed him. In a bizarre moment, Murray also broke out into song, performing an impromptu rendition of “The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot,” much to Cooper’s surprise and visible confusion.
Murray has hopes of appealing his sentence, regaining his medical license and returning to normalcy, but it’s highly unlikely that any new evidence could reveal the proof of innocence he so desperately craves.
Murray’s decision to speak comes as the Jackson Family is suing concert promoter AEG for negligence in Jackson’s death.
What do you think of Dr. Murray’s claims and his pulling at straws to convince the public of his innocence?
This clown really should shut up and just serve his time.
