A DREAM FULFILLED
Today is KING DAY, as the nation celebrates what would have been the 80th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tomorrow is OBAMA DAY, as the nation will inaugurate the first African-American President of the United States. On August 28, 1963, Dr. King prounounced “I HAVE A DREAM” on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. On January 20, 2009, Barack Obama will become the fulfillment of that dream on the steps of the U.S. Capitol. Martin paved the road for Barack. Barack now stands on the shoulders of Martin.
