Dubai Boasts World’s Only 7-Star Hotel
Like most of the world, you’ve probably stayed in a 4 star or even 5 star hotel — but what about SEVEN star accommodations? Get ready, because Dubai in the United Arab Emirates has made such opulence a reality.

Set on an artificial island just 920 feet from Jumeirah Beach, the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai is one of a kind.  Designed to resemble the sail of a ship (in honor of Dubai’s nautical heritage) and standing as the 3rd tallest hotel in the world, it’s not only luxurious and over the top, but is the stuff fantasies are made of.
Imagine exclusive 2-level duplexes in the all-suite property. Gold plated iPads and 21-inch Mac computers in every room. A revolving bed in the Royal Suite. A menu of 17 varieties of pillow types. Even your own personal butler. Needless to say, there’s nothing modest about this 7-star Dubai landmark.
When you arrive at the airport, one of a fleet of chauffeur-driven white Rolls-Royces will be there to pick you up in style. Or if you’re in a hurry or simply feeling more adventurous, you can request the private helicopter to transport you directly to the hotel’s 28th floor helipad.
Upon entering the hotel, you will be greeted with an array of fountains that shoot high into the air. A few steps into the lobby will present you with several luxury stores to shop in. Or, choose from the hotel’s 9 restaurants and bars, each with its own distinctive cuisine and theme.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, be advised that living in the lap of luxury doesn’t come cheap.  A room on one of the lower floors of the Burj Al Arab will set you back about $1,100 per night. Although this might be a month’s rent for some, jet-setters would consider it pocket change.
