Election 2023: Democrats Are Dancing!

Spread The Love

Tuesday was Election Day across much of America. Let’s take a look at why Democrats are dancing in the streets over the results of Election 2023.

Politics :
To put it bluntly, Election 2023 was a big night for the Democratic Party. GOP candidates were whipped into submission by the Democrats and Republican-sponsored measures were defeated via a clear message from voters that conservative themes are unpopular and unwelcomed.

Election 2023.
Gov. Youngkin

In Virginia, Democrats won complete control of the state’s House and Senate, dealing a major blow to Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin and his conservative agenda for the remainder of his term.

Democratic figures, including President Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama, and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore absolutely hammered the GOP as “MAGA extremists” in that state and warned that if Republicans were given extended terms, they would pass a controversial abortion ban supported by the GOP governor.

It worked!

The Democratic victory now means that Youngkin’s proposed 15-week abortion ban is a no-go. His presidential aspirations have also come under question following this current defeat.

In Kentucky, Democratic Governor Andy Beshear handily defeated his Republican challenger, Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, and earned himself a 2nd term with a more than 52% win total.

The Beshear victory was a political shocker, considering Kentucky’s reputation as a staunchly conservative state. However, despite Donald Trump’s decision to throw his weight behind Daniel Cameron, the GOP still ended up going down in a sea of flames. Perhaps Trump isn’t the king-maker he promotes himself to be.

In Ohio, ABC News reported that voters rejected the Republican moral agenda by adding abortion protections to the state constitution. The Ohio results were a powerful message against the US Supreme Court’s rebuke of Roe v. Wade and now means that a woman’s right to choose will remain the law of the land in this Midwestern electoral powerhouse.

Also in Ohio, voters agreed to officially legalize marijuana — a decision that went against the Republican and evangelical/conservative agenda.

Election 2023.

Political pundits are now reminding voters that election results in Kentucky and Ohio have traditionally predicted the past several presidential races. Voters have made it clear that they want politicians to stay out of their bedrooms and personal decisions. They’re also not collectively keen on Donald Trump and his MAGA control of the once Grand Ol’ Party.

Or, in other words, Republicans should be extremely worried about their political chances in the upcoming election.

I’m sure there were any number of cable news pundit-idiots yesterday warning Us that the polls looked a bit bleak for the Dems.

And those same jokers will tout the same polls, while repeatedly telling Us over the next year that Pre. Biden can’t beat Trump… Again.

Anyway, Congrats to the Dems!

Repubs really got taken down last night. It appears abortion is the issue Dems need to be running on. That and the Maga threat is what Dems can win on going by last night.

And let the Church say Amen!
