Election Lawsuits, Cheating, And Violence
It’s officially election day in America and the buzzwords of the day are election lawsuits, claims of widespread cheating, and threats of violence.

It’s never a good sign when a plethora of election lawsuits and plans to cheat are at the top of your re-election strategy. It’s also never a good sign when attempting to suppress the vote is among your only hopes for victory. Except, that’s exactly where things are today for Donald J. Trump.
‘The Donald’ is beginning election day in America steaming mad — because a number of election lawsuits filed by him and the GOP have been thrown out and ruled absurd by federal courts.
In Harris County, Texas, Judge Andrew Hanen (who was appointed by George W. Bush) ruled against Trump’s attempt to throw out 127,000 ballots which were cast in a drive-thru setting.
Harris County received approval from the Texas Secretary of State to conduct drive-thru voting tents due to the continuing dangers of COVID-19. However, the Trump camp recognized that Harris County in Houston is predominately Democratic. So, their attempt to throw out those 100,000+ votes was actually an attempt to suppress the Democratic voter and to cheat in order to help Donald Trump in the long run.
“If Harris County goes against Trump in large enough numbers, then we could lose Texas,” Trump attorney Jared Woodfill said. “And if Trump loses Texas then we lose the national election,” he added. “As far as I’m concerned this is ground zero.”
Although the judge admitted he wasn’t personally a fan of drive-thru voting, his ruling in favor of allowing votes to be counted regardless if cast on foot or in a vehicle was clear and negated any attempts at voter suppression.
“We always knew that the law was on our side here,” Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins said. “We followed the election code to a ‘T.’ We worked with the secretary of state to introduce drive-thru voting. We know that it is legal, in addition to being safe and convenient.”
Out of an abundance of caution, Hollins decided late Monday night to close 9 of the county’s 10 drive-thru locations and to leave only 1 open for Tuesday voting. His reasoning was to get ahead of any legal appeals expected from the Trump camp, which will argue against tents as legal “structures” for voting. Hollins preferred to compromise rather than risk votes being thrown out later over a semantics argument.
In Nevada, a judge rejected a lawsuit by Donald Trump and state Republican officials who attempted to halt the counting of mail-in ballots in Clark County.
The county is home to Las Vegas, is the state’s most populous county, and is considered heavily Democratic.
Trump and the Nevada GOP claimed that mail-in votes should not be counted because they could not observe the ballot-counting process closely enough. However, a federal judge ruled that their legal challenge was hogwash.
Carson City District Court Judge James Wilson ruled against Trump and the GOP, stating they lacked legal standing to bring the case and had failed to provide evidence of “debasement or dilution of a citizen’s vote.”
“There is no evidence that any vote that should lawfully be counted has or will not be counted. There is no evidence that any vote that lawfully should not be counted has or will be counted. There is no evidence that any election worker did anything outside of the law, policy, or procedures,” he stated.
In Pennsylvania, Donald Trump claimed that unless the state can announce a winner by election night and not count any other votes (read: mail-in ballots) after that time, then anything that happens after midnight should be invalidated.
Or, in other words, Trump wants to cheat in Pennsylvania.

“Instead of the President saying he’s going to win more votes, he’s saying ‘I’m going to try and break the rules of the game.'” – Jeff Zeleny, CNN
.
Traditionally, the announcement of a winner on election night is merely a projection and not based on an actual vote tally. States regularly count mail-in ballots for several days after election day. In fact, Pennsylvania will not even begin counting their mail-in ballots until Wednesday morning.
However, that’s not good enough for ‘The Donald’ who is already throwing a tantrum and has stooped to inciting violence unless he gets his way.

The Supreme Court decision on voting in Pennsylvania is a VERY dangerous one. It will allow rampant and unchecked cheating and will undermine our entire systems of laws. It will also induce violence in the streets. Something must be done!

Donald Trump has realized he can’t win the 2020 presidential election fair and square. So, he has threatened extensive election lawsuits, has promised to send his lawyers into court immediately following election day, and has reduced himself to cheating and encouraging violence unless he is deemed the victor.
Democracy is at stake. Did you vote?
