Earlier this week, Elin Nordegren, the estranged wife of pro golfer Tiger Woods, showed up to their Florida estate with a moving truck and crew. As photos captured the crew moving hers and her two children’s things out of the house, People Magazine reported that Elin has made up her mind. She is filing for divorce!
“She’s made up her mind. There’s nothing to think about: he’s never going to change,” said one source close to their family. According to The Mirror, Elin has scheduled a meeting with celebrity lawyer Sorrell Trope, and is believed to be planning to file for divorce in California — where the couple have a home — and not Florida, where they live. Filing for divorce in California increases her chances that any joint property would be split evenly between the two.
MSNBC’s The Scoop has recently spotted Nordegren in public without her wedding ring and says “she and Tiger are living separately now, but she’ll be making this split very open and official right after Christmas.” Tiger has holed himself up into his own wall of silence, changing his phone numbers and not speaking to anyone, including celebrity buddies Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley.
The truth is, now that I've learned that Elin ACTUALLY knew about Tiger's "partying ways" PRIOR to them getting married_but she willingly took the risk anyway_based on his word that would "Change"_smh.__well it puts this whole mess in a much different light for me. He definitely was NOT ready for anything remotely close to marriage!But given that Tiger was practically banging multiple women at any given point and time throughout the ENTIRE marriage, Elin had to have had even a basic gut feeling that Tiger had NOT “changed” at all.In short: Yes. He’s a piece of work. But IMO she’s known it all along.
