I admit I am addicted to the Facebook game of Farmville. But one woman’s addiction recently went too far and ended in terrible tragedy.
22-year-old Alexandra V. Tobias of Jacksonsville, Florida, said her three-month old son, Dylan Lee Edmondson, had been crying too much while she was trying to play the popular online game of Farmville. This angered her so much that she shook the baby, had a cigarette to calm herself down, then shook him again. At some point he “may have hit his head during the shaking.” Now Tobias has pleaded guilty to killing her own baby over the game of Farmville.
Dylan’s death was classified as second-degree murder, which means that his mother the sick woman who gave birth to him now faces the possibility of a life sentence in prison. And rightly so!
