FLASH MOB ROBS
Normally when we think of a Flash Mob, we think of a fun occasion where dozens of people suddenly break out into a planned song and/or dance at a public spot. But a recent Flash Mob in Maryland was anything but a fun occasion.
A flash mob, which police believe was organized on the Internet, robbed a Maryland convenience store in less than a minute. Now authorities are using the Internet to try and identify those who participated in the crime.
Store surveillance video captured dozens of teens walking into a Germantown 7-Eleven store early Saturday morning, who then ransacked the store and grabbed everything in site, before disappearing as quickly as they had appeared. Montgomery County Police posted the video on YouTube and have asked the public for help in identifying the Flash “robbers.”
“At least 28 different individuals have been confirmed on the video,” Capt. Paul Starks said Tuesday. “We’re getting a lot of response from sources in the community who have seen the video, who are concerned, and are calling police with tips.”
I blame the parents here. This is ridiculuos.
