Count conservative columnist George Will among those who believe criticism of President Obama regarding the Iranian situation is “foolish criticism.” When asked by George Stephanopoulos of ABC’s THIS WEEK to respond to Republican criticism of the President not being forceful enough or injecting himself into the controversy surrounding the Iranian election, Will said:
The president is being roundly criticized for insufficient, rhetorical support for what’s going on over there. It seems to me foolish criticism. The people on the streets know full well what the American attitude toward the regime is. And they don’t need that reinforced.
