The 13th date is widely considered a double whammy of bad luck. First, the number 13 is traditionally considered a bad omen and is frequently omitted from building floors and seat rows. However, Friday itself is also regarded as a “not-so-great” day of the week throughout history, predominately for being the day Christians believe Jesus was crucified.
