Trump is in way over his head. This is all a big joke or reality show to him or something. But this is real life he is playing with. I am afraid he is going to piss off the wrong people and put us all in danger. Now this thing with Kim is coming up next. Another joke. SMH

MSNBC, CNN,

And nothing captures the True nature of this summit like having Dennis Rodman be a part of this whole spectacle.

Is Donald Trump playing a high-stakes game of chicken that will pay off in the end for America? Or is his complete ineptitude and inexperience on the world stage about to create a global catastrophe that will isolate the US and damage long-standing relationships with vital allies for years to come? […]

Yes. He’s playing “a high-stakes game of chicken” but it’s highly Unlikely to pay off for America..not in the short or long term. In fact, “his ineptitude and inexperience on the world stage” ARE ALREADY creating global havoc that’s “isolating the U.S. and damage long-standing relationships with vital allies for years to come.”

But this is the fool that’s going to “make America great again.”!?! Puleeze. As if he actually gives a fig about his “tribe” (White America) or his country!?! (rolling my eyes).

This is all just a friggin game to him.

MSN News: “US says NKorea talks moving quickly, Trump to leave early”

SINGAPORE (AP) — President Donald Trump plans to depart early FROM his unprecedented summit with Kim Jong Un, the White House said Monday, declaring that nuclear talks with North Korea have moved “more quickly than expected.”

Trump had been scheduled to fly back to Washington on Wednesday morning after spending Tuesday with the North Korean leader in Singapore. But on the eve of the summit, he altered his schedule, opting to return at about 8 p.m. on Tuesday after a full day of meetings with Kim — almost 15 hours earlier than previously anticipated.

“The discussions between the United States and North Korea are ongoing and have moved more quickly than expected,” the White House said in a statement.

It wasn’t immediately clear what specific progress, if any, had been made in preliminary discussions between U.S. and North Korean officials in the run-up to the Tuesday summit. In fact, only hours before the White House announcement, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had seemed to lower expectations for the meeting, which Trump had earlier predicted could potentially yield an on-the-spot deal to end the Korean War. Because these 6 countries represent values, they represent an economic market which has the weight of history behind it and which is now a true international force,” Macron tweeted. […]

Well we shall see. The truth is, since the ending of WW II our allies have pretty much allowed the U.S. to dictate the terms of everything while the leaders of those nations have been content to blindly followed. The only exception being Israel – a nation that dictates their wishes to Us on foreign policy and U.S. leaders willingly obey. Pres. Obama was the only president in recent American history to not bow down to Israel. But I digress.

Over the weekend I only checked in on the news a little so as to not to be completely in the dark about how these dog-and-pony shows (the G7 Summit followed by the NK Summit) are playing out. Not at all surprised by all the news media hype and babblings surrounding these 2 events. The G7 went about as bad as I expected it to. And I’m not expecting the NK Summit to result in much regarding actual substance. But (as as expressed in my response to a related post last week) Kim Jong Un will have gotten what he wants most, face-to-face recognition from a sitting U.S. President. And Trump will declare whatever teeny tiny measure of possible progress he can squeeze out of Kim as an “outstanding historical achievement.”
