GARY COLEMAN DEATH BED PHOTOS

Spread The Love

Normally, we lead every story on OK WASSUP! with a photo.  But today’s photo for this story is blank — on purpose!

That’s because OK WASSUP! does not condone or wish to partake in providing visual audience to the death bed photos taken of actor Gary Coleman while he laid comatose in a hospital, currently making the rounds on the Internet.  Gary Coleman may not have commanded much respect in life. But in his death, we owe him a certain level of respect, common courtesy and human decency.

In case you haven’t heard, Shannon Price, the ex-wife of Gary Coleman, posed next to the actor and took photos of him while on his death bed.  Reportedly in an attempt to “cash-in” on her years of marriage to the former “Diff’rent Strokes” star, Price then allegedly sold the photos to THE GLOBE tabloid for $10,000., which will publish the photos later this week.  But Shannon Price denies any involvement, saying the photos were supposed to only be for her personal use and she has “no idea” how they got out to the press.  Hmmm…

I personally saw the photos, and they are vile at best.  Gary Coleman is seen with a bandaged head and a variety of tubes being used to keep him alive.  And in the minutes before his death, the most forefront thought in the mind of Shannon Price was to make sure that both he and her were within camera shot, as she took several photos of them while he lay helpless and in a coma — posing next to him so as to prove the authenticity and legitimacy of the photos in her (alleged) bid to sell them.  These photos are sickening, and if published they will likely come to be known as one of the most tasteless and incomprehensible moments of a generation.

“They are going to sell a crazy amount of magazines,” said a source knowledgeable of the situation. “Yes, it’s an ugly decision to run pictures of a man in his hospital bed minutes before he died, but dead celebrities sell.”  So sad!

So Rest In Peace Gary Coleman.  May you find the peace, respect and dignity in death that those seemingly closest to you never provided you in life!
