Okay (sigh)…What right-wing extremists have done to the word “conservative” (politically speaking) is a crime. Those dangerous Clowns AREN’T “conservative” by any stretch of the imagination. Frankly, I would posit the vast majority of them actually couldn’t care less about “conservatism” at all. They want attention..and power!

They’re right-wing, (mostly) sexually repressed nutjobs, haters and ignoramuses, who used to be restricted to the outer fringes of the Republican Party (kept mostly out of sight until an election). Thanks to Trump, they now control that party.

And let’s face it, they make a lot of money playing their “base” for fools….so this kind of right-wing madness will continue as long as it pays off.
