This has been a real busy day but I can finally get to this. We already know what is going on here. Like DJ said this is Jim Crow era coming back to us. But the pastor said it best when he said we will turn this into a movement. Repubs know if black folk start going to the polls they are screwed. They want to do everything they can to stop that. Stacy and all of them down there are already on this and they are not going to let Georgia get away with trying to suppress minorities from voting. The fact they already filed three suits says it all.

White racists in America are a Fearful lot trying desperately to turn back the hands of time to try to hang on to power by any means necessary. Their numbers are dwindling and they know it. They’re waging their last stand and they know it. If they fail, they’re done….and they know it.

But this ain’t really about them. It’s about Us, the rest of America. We must come together and work together to protect even more than Our right to vote. WE had better know that.

Republicans in Georgia have passed a sweeping elections bill that voting rights advocates say is a bald-faced attempt at voter suppression.

The new law imposes new voter identification requirements for absentee ballots, empowers state officials to take over local elections boards, limits the use of ballot drop boxes and makes it a crime to approach voters in line to give them food and water.

The law is seen as a win for former President Trump and his allies, who falsely claimed widespread voter fraud during the 2020 election. Trump himself pressured Georgia leaders to overturn Joe Biden’s victory in the state.

President Biden has called bills like this “sick” and “un-American.” Other Republican-led states are considering similar voter suppression laws, sparking calls for federal legislation to set a national baseline for voting rules.
