Like many of us, I’m an admitted TiVo addict. I enjoy coming home and having the ability to watch whatever I want, whenever I want. But the problem for all TiVo addicts is that unless we’re sitting in the same room as the main media center where the TiVo is connected, we can’t really enjoy it. Sure, we could spend hundreds on the purchase and service for a second TiVo box for the master bedroom, however that’s costly. But hold on TiVo addicts and get ready for a huge surprise, because that’s all about to change.
Introducing the TiVo Mini, a new device TiVo has planned for 2013, which will extend your existing TiVo Premiere to any room in the house. Soon, you will be able to enjoy all the features of TiVo in the comforts of your bedroom, simply by connecting to your main TiVo unit via Ethernet or coax cable.
The TiVo Mini will come with the traditional peanut remote, which will allow you to pause, rewind and fast forward all your TV shows, as well as view recorded programs from your main TiVo Premiere.
Availability and cost have yet to be announced, but rest assured OK WASSUP! will provide the news once we know it!
