Hell has a new resident. Richard Ramirez, the demonic serial killer who mutilated his victims’ bodies then left satanic signs at the murder scenes during the 1980s, died Friday.
The 53-year-old Ramirez had been on death row for decades, even though California long since ended the execution of prisoners. He was taken from San Quentin to a hospital last week, where prison authorities said he died of liver failure. Due to federal patient privacy laws, no further details were provided.
