Move over Facebook “Like” button — Google + 1 is here!
From now on, whenever you’re searching Google while signed into your Google account, every search result will have a +1 icon next to it. If you find a search result useful or you enjoyed the linked site, just hit the +1 icon, which will result in you’re giving it a recommendation/stamp of approval. So when you see more +1’s next to a result, this is your signal that the site is more interesting.
Now here’s where the Facebook-like comparison comes in: you will also be able to see what your friends +1’d, which could lend more credence to a particular search result and help you sift out the crappy ones.
Now how cool is that?
