Hear-Hear! Well said.

In fact, I appreciate your entire response.

The only way I will vote is to vote every incumbent out of office. The Congress does not protect our liberties , our ability to live our lives with decency and provides NO leadership or representation. I am encouraged by concerned, informed individuals that run for office that will demand tax reform, health reform, real education reform and protection of our civil liberties. The Congress has few individuals that are concerned with citizens of the United States. It's tiring to be fed continuous lies have our rights and our money taken from us for the benefit of the priveleged elite, corporations , and the very wealthy . Meanwhile catapulting the US and the entire planet to annhilation. I am not a Republican, a Democrat, nor a Libertarian. They all have the stench of greed and ignorance. The GOP may have felt they could put the Don in office and continue business as usual….he is too ignorant and self involved to realize the destruction he has set loose. Our only hope is the common citizen of the US and the world. If people really care about the experience of their own life, our precious earth, and ALL of human life then there is much to be done. The majority of politicians are garbage!

Conditions are right for a major Democratic wave to sweep out the House Republican majority next fall, according to Nathan Gonzales, who runs the "Inside Elections" campaign tipsheet.

"The midterm elections are still nearly a year and a half away, and the political dynamics could yet change, but we shouldn't ignore the fact that history and the current environment are merging together for a potentially great set of elections for Democrats in November 2018," writes Gonzales in a piece published Wednesday morning.
To that end, Gonzales is adding nine Republican seats to his list of potentially competitive races and moving the ratings on 10 more GOP-held districts in favor of Democrats. That brings his list of competitive contests to 39 for Republicans as compared to just 14 for Democrats.
As Gonzales notes, two factors argue for a wave election: History and polls.
First, history. In the last 20 midterm elections, the president's party has lost seats in 18. In those 18 elections, the average seat loss is 33. Democrats need 24 seats to re-take the House majority in 2018.
Second, polls. President Donald Trump's job approval rating is at 39% in the Gallup daily tracking poll.
"That's not good news for GOP candidates, considering that midterms are often a referendum on the President's performance and Trump's name won't appear on the ballot," concludes Gonzalez.

"Trump said he was going to drain the swamp….."

Uh-huh. So he could make room for an even bigger swamp.

But Dems should also be mindful of fact that general support for Trump during the campaign always hovered around 35-40%. It's was, and remains, much higher among Repub voters.

Independents appear to be abandoning Trump and GOP. That's where the real decline seems to be.

The challenge for Dems is two-fold:

1. Give voters a reason to for FOR you. Not just against Trump and the Repubs. And….

2. Do whatever needs to be done to Get.Out.The.Vote..

Approx 92 million Americans did NOT bother to vote in the presidential election that put Trump in the White House. My guess is, most of those voters were Dems and Dem-leaning Independents.

In the words of Pres. Obama "Elections have consequences." Raising H*ll is one thing. But getting people to show up and vote is the most significant thing.

The only way to save Our country and Our dignity is for Everyone who truly loves this country (and understand what's truly at stake) to show up and Vote in 2018 AND 2020 AND BEYOND.
