GOP To Donald Trump: ‘Shut Up!’
Newsflash: Â Donald Trump is either incredibly stupid, or incredibly smart.
If he legitimately wants to be President of the United States, he’s incredibly stupid for all the dumb B.S. he says and does — B.S. that would never ever work in his favor during a general election.
However, if Trump is merely using the GOP presidential election to etch out a place of power for himself within the Republican Party, then the man is an absolute genius!

Donald Trump is on record for calling Mexicans a bunch of worthless rapists and killers, and for reigniting the “I don’t know where Obama was born” debacle (among other things). Following a rousing speech in Phoenix last Saturday, Trump told reporters that he believes “without question” that Mexican officials are purposely sending undesirable immigrants to this country and that as president, he would charge Mexico $100,000 for every undocumented immigrant who crossed the border.
He added, “Don’t worry, we’ll take our country back!”
With such words, Trump has earned the ire of Mexicans all across the globe.  He has also played directly into the hands of the lowest common denominator of the GOP.  All the ultra right-wingers, evangelicals,  Confederate flag wavers and Obama hating “I want my country back” racists are going absolutely bat crazy over his words.  They’re eating him up like free crack at a crack den and Trump is stomping all over the busload of candidates the GOP has paraded out for 2016.
According to a new Suffolk University/USA Today poll, Donald Trump is now in the lead for the Republican nomination for president. Yes, you read correctly…Trump is #1 among Republicans at 17%, while his nearest challenger, Jeb Bush is at 14%.
Donald Trump will NEVER be elected President of the United States — but he is doing one hell of a job at being a thorn in the side of the GOP on his way to possibly winning the nomination.  No wonder the Republican National Committee is pulling its hair out while privately trying to figure out a way to simply make Trump disappear.
In a recent series of secret phone calls, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus has taken a very tactful approach in telling Donald Trump to basically shut up!
“Look, I’ve gotta tell you, I spent four years trying to make inroads with the Hispanic community … how we address illegal immigration is very important,” to winning back Hispanics politically, Priebus said, according to a GOP source.
After Mitt Romney was whipped by President Obama during the 2012 election, Priebus commissioned a study to analyze how the GOP could successfully re-capture the White House. The report came back with the clear message that Republicans must change their language and approach with the Hispanic community in order to win over voters.  After a few years of, albeit, lackluster Hispanic outreach by the GOP, Donald Trump has come along and basically undone everything in a few short months.
If that’s not enough, Trump’s safety may also be in danger.

Following Trump’s words against Mexicans and Mexico, escaped drug kingpin El Chapo Guzman made it a point to pause his run from the law to send Trump a profanity-laced message on Twitter:
Keep screwing with us and I’m going to make you eat your f*cking words you lousy white fag*ot.

Still, somehow Donald Trump is undeterred. Despite strong pushback from members of his own party to basically cut the rhetoric, Trump has flatly refused. In fact, he says that if the GOP doesn’t get out of his way and his words, he may mount a troublesome Independent candidacy..
Republican Party leaders haven’t a clue what to do about Donald Trump, but they know they must do something before he completely takes over the party. Republicans desperately want to reign Trump in so that the party will appeal to a broader electorate. However, they also want to be careful not to offend the white working-class and lower class base that loves him.
Could Donald Trump actually win the Republican nomination for president? Does Donald Trump want to win the nomination? Will he comply with his Republican colleagues and simply shut up, or is Trump a runaway train about crash and burn along with hundreds of other GOP casualties?

Yes indeed. And it couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.
Trump is a big mouth, bloviating, narcissistic schmuck who owes most of the credit for his billions to his father. To borrow a phrase – Donald was born on 3rd base but prances around like he hit a triple..(rolling my eyes).
He's beyond nauseating. And frankly, I doubt he's really of any particular political persuasion. It's widely known that he has "greased the palms" of Dems and Repubs alike.
However beginning with his rise as a *birther* he's become quite the perfect symbol of what Repubs actually stands for. The crap he spews is typical right-wing crap. The Repub "base" loves it. They eat that stuff up, which is why he's now polling at #1 or #2 among Repub voters..
The problem for the GOPe is that Trump is the RAW and UNCUT version of a Repub politician. He's the monster the GOPe helped create when they embraced his birther crap.
Now he's eating them alive. And they have NOT a clue as to how to stop the bleeding.
You chose the right pic for Trump DJ because he is a clown. I was telling my coworker some of the same things you said in the article. Trump is playing right in the hand if all the racist Repubs. I hope he wins the nomination and they're stuck with him as the face of their party. The deserve each other.
